Henry Jones is the next icon when it comes to art in skateboarding. While growing up outside of Philadelphia with a pair of painting parents, it wasn’t until he took a job at Fairman’s Skate Shop that he realized he could combine his two loves of illustration and shredding. After receiving encouragement from Dave Fairman, Henry hosted his first art show at the skate shop and the rest is history. With a knack for satire and ability to poke fun at the thing he loves most, Henry’s work has gained industry-wide recognition and fanfare through his many collabs, guest artist graphics, and even a shoe colorway through adidas. While drawing inspiration from other skate artists such as Ed Templeton and Mark Gonzales, Henry also lists Shel Silverstein and Charles Schultz as a few of his personal favorites. In his free time, Henry enjoys a freshly smoked brisket, watching old Jerry Hsu footage, and working towards breaking the world record for fastest consumption of a Capri-Sun.
